Centrally located just outside downtown Highlands and 10 minutes from Cashiers, Cullasaja Club has been referred to as “basecamp.” Surrounded by thousands of acres of National forests, waterfalls, hiking trails, trout streams, and numerous mountain towns each with its own charm, Cullasaja Club is an ideal location to launch your mountain adventure.

Land of Waterfalls

Bridal Veil Falls is a 45 foot waterfall located in the neighboring Nantahala National Forest, and is the only waterfall in North Carolina that you can drive under in a vehicle. Cullasaja Falls, estimated at 200 feet high in the Nantahala National Forest, is located on the Cullasaja River and is part of the Mountain Waters Scenic Byway. Dry Falls, measuring 65 feet, is part of a series of waterfalls on an 8.7 miles stretch of the Cullasaja River that ends with Cullasaja Falls.

Fly Fishing for Trophy Trout at Cullasaja Club

Cullasaja Club offers nearly 2 miles of trout streams and a 27 acre lake (Ravenel Lake) that is stocked annually with 5 species of trophy trout.  Come see what only a select few know about fly fishing behind the gates at Cullasaja Club!
